My Wish List

Okay, in all honesty I'm not one to beg for things, most especially material things. But as the saying goes, A girl can dream, well let me sorta live up to that and show you my Christmas wish list. These are things I dream of owning someday (soon I hope). So, let me attract it cause one day I'll have everything on this list of mine!Wanna know what they are? Then here you go: Shoes (Miu Miu Sparrow printed Mary Janes, Christian Louboutins, Jeffrey Campbell platforms, Finsk wedges, Michael Antonio studded heels, Tory Burch flats and Topshop glitterized pumps), Make Up (MAC Venomous Villains in those shades, Nars blush and Chanel pale pink lipstick), Bags and Accessories (Chanel bag, Alexander McQueen clutch, a Jeremy Scott x Longchamp collabo bag and House of Harllow accessories), Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume, House of Holland suspender tights, AA mesh bodycon dress and more denim shorts!! Phew, that was a long WISH list, HAHAHA Oh well.. I just keep telling myself that little by little I'll get to cross off the things I get from that list of mine! HAHA! ;)

The Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes

I wore this to an entire day of eating, shopping and running some pre-holiday errands all before my aunt left for the States later that night. I went for something basic, and of course black.. But, I decided to join in the bandwagon and go with the holiday craze and wear some red! Like this Minnie Muse cardi I adore which I got at Forever 21, it’s beyond comfy and my favorite red Wisteria wedges!! Oh and I also got a haircut that day — I’ll blog a look with my new do soon!Anyway, here are my outfit details: I'm in a red Minnie Muse cardi and a black sweetheart cut tube dress, both from Forever 21, red Wisteria wedges from Topshop, a black leather Gucci bag with their signature bamboo handle, studded leather cuffs from People are People and silver and black rings from Forever 21 and from Greece.We had a great lunch at Escolta, the yummy buffet place over at the Pen. After the yummy lunch (and some bubbly) we looked at the new bar -- But I don't recall the name. It sounded quite off though, but the interior was SUPERB!!! I'd love to see how that place looks like while it's up and running!!Nice riiiight??? Oh, and kinda off topic but read the article on the Forever 21 brand ambassadors over on StyleBibe.ph!!And about my blog title.. Got it from a song by Elvis Costello.. Which goes.. "But since their wings have got rusted,

TRUNK SHOW

Before this importunity, I already heard about Trunk Show. It's a local brand, and I've heard about and seen it's different designs, funky and not to mention edgy yet sweet designs. Sounds interesting right? It's really like a mix and fuse of different styles, which is what I love about this brand! It's pretty much an oxymoron of such like grunge chic, glam rock and all that jazz! Trunk Show is located at Trinoma, Glorietta and now Rockwell: Power Plant! Hurry and head on over there, I heard they have new flats and clogs.. Well, that are you waiting for? GET SHOPPING!! You still have a few days till Christmas! ;)

Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto

I wore this outfit to a night out with friends at a new club that just opened up called, ROBOT. I decided to go for something simple yet sexy so I thought of putting on that dress, and I loved it sooooo much!!I'm wearing black gold studded Dolce Vita heels, a wooded bag from Aranaz, gold accessories and a black Alexander Wang inspired bodycon dress with mesh details which I got from Trunk Show! Thank you to Bem Lim for giving me the chance to score a dress and a pair of shoes from Trunk Show (read more about it on my next blog post)!Yes. We took photos in the bathroom, but who could resist taking photos at a bathroom filled with glass? I think I'll dub that bathroom the mirror ball bathroom.. HAHAHA!OH! There was a waiter-slash-magician and he was suuuuper cool!

I've Got a Pocket Full of Sunshine

Break number.. Well.. I've lost count already.. Oops! But hey, don't blame me, it's finals week and as much as I wanna finish all my work I don't want it to be half-baked if you know what I mean. So, I decided to take it easy and well, blog! This was my look yesterday while Guia and I reported on the history of denim (we wore denim on denim but for some reason it was SUPER HOT.. So I changed, haha)!Anyway, I'm wearing a thrifted nude chiffon polo, a white Forever 21 tank top and denim shorts, a black leather Nine West belt, nude Parisian pumps (FINALLY I HAVE A PAIR!!!) and my ever dependable black Topshop leather bag. OH! And I added a little spunk to my look buy slipping on some super cool connector rings and layers of necklaces. Like what Rachel Zoe says,"The perfect accessory can make the difference between looking blah and totally to die for" -- A little something I got from Rafa! xx

Taking a Breather..

I'm still not yet done with my Fillus (aka Fashion Illustration) finals and well, I just REALLY need to take a breather. And what way to cheer me up, well, watch something funny and get back to work right after. SO. I did just that, but what did I watch? Here.Omg, I swear I love Emma Stone! Other than her being gorgeous, she is hilarious and well, such a great actress and singer as well! I've been watching Easy A over and over again (in the back ground while I was working on my finals) and for some reason I get my work done, haha! Enjoy the clip.. Just as much as I am! xo

Yes, I Can!

When I was typing this yesterday I was taking about a 2 minute break from my extremely hectic Finals week. I know right now I've been stressed with a lot of things at the moment but I keep telling myself.. Yes, I can!Okay, so on to what I've got on.. A bright red Minnie Muse cardigan, a basic white tank top, black sequined shorts, black suede shoes (yes, they are one of my favorites), a black over-sized bag and my black multi-layered chain necklace all from Forever 21.Well, for those who don't know, there's only 10 days till Christmas and what way to show your Christmas Spirit to your friends and loved ones but by getting them a little something from Forever 21.. Well, might I suggest giving them some GC's? They come in 1k or 2k worth of cards and for sure you'll be making whoever a VERY happy person!! Dog Days Are Over

Well, it was another Thursday and you all know what that means.. Fashion Thursdays! Yesterdays theme was Manila Fashion Icons, it sounds easy right? But it was HARD! Trying to dress like someone a lot of people look up to (and giving them justice) was quite a challenge so I hope I did a good job. So, this week I decided to dress up like presidential stylist, Liz Uy. I've always loved the way she dresses up! So here is my attempt to be her for a day..I had a peg for that day (see photo below, which I got from StyleBible.ph), and I tried my very best to "copy" it, haha! Here are some of my friends and who they came as..
Here's Guia as Kryz Uy. She didn't have anyone in mind at first but I'm good at convincing and well, it worked! She put on some red lipstick and VOILA!! Oh and it could've been perfect if only Guia brought her black-hair-bow-clip to school that day! SHUCKS!Up next is Ingrid. She came to school looking as fierce as ever in her F21 shades for she came as THE Daryl Chang of Preview. I couldn't find a shot of Daryl Chang in a red blazer but this was as close as I could get, before she dyed her hair blonde! It would've been even cooler if Ingrid didn't forget to bring her wig to school! But it's all good, she looks great nonetheless!
And last but not least, Rafa came as Carlos Concepcion. He said his peg was the outfit Carlos wore to the Garage event and he got it right, with the Docs and all!!
